About Us
How I got started
All my life I have been artistic but I never embraced that ability when I was young… After graduating high school I went to college and earned a degree in Science. My career started as an organic chemist working in a laboratory. Chemistry just wasn’t my passion and once my children were grown I pursued my dream and attended design school. After earning a degree in Interior Design Technology and graduating with honors, I started my career at a local custom cabinet manufacturer. After 12 years of designing cabinetry I decided I wanted to provide more services then just cabinetry design. I started L B Interiors longing to be involved in the total selection process that makes a space a home.
Making a difference
The most rewarding part of my career is helping clients transform their ordinary living spaces into exceptional areas where life can be enjoyed and shared. A persons surroundings directly influence their sense of well being.
Creating or re-creating your living space will make a positive difference in your everyday life. It may be as simple as adding a new furniture piece, rearranging your existing furniture or remodeling your kitchen or bath. Whatever your endeavor… we want to make the process not only enjoyable but rewarding.

Inspiration comes to us in many ways. Maybe its from a destination you visited or something you watched in the media. An idea is a beginning and we can design and develop your space based on the most simple inspirations.
Great design involves attention to detail, creativity, and enthusiasm. It is the art of combining human needs, functionality and beauty into personal living spaces.
Using her talents for creativity and visualization, Laurie prepared meticulously detailed drawings for our contractor to follow. There is no doubt that Laurie is the "whole package." The end result is a kitchen that is visually appealing, functional and works great for our family's needs.
